We focus on technical solutions for initiatives within the domains of democracy, freedom of speech, culture, and education. We partner with various civil society organizations to understand their technical challenges and build solutions that deliver real-world impact. Our work primarily focuses on – but is not limited to – supporting Belarusian civil society.
Our recent projects:
Analytical Module for FLAW
We partnered with the human rights organisation Human Constanta to develop and integrate a specialised analytics and data intelligence solution into their FLAW project.
The module aggregates and categorises data on individuals, organisations, and media that have been designated as 'extremist' or 'terrorist' by the Belarusian regime. Automating the collection of this data enables human rights activists to monitor repressive trends and assess legal risks more quickly and accurately.
We have also developed Notifyer to complement the analytics module. This tool produces accurate and fast alerts whenever new entities are added to these lists, enabling users to stay informed via a secure communication channel.
Infrastructure for Staronki.Space
We have taken over the infrastructure management and technical support for staronki.space, a Belarusian bookcrossing platform and distributed library. The project is designed primarily for Belarusians abroad, providing a digital space to find one another and exchange native-language literature.
The platform centers on a web catalog featuring users' private collections alongside public spaces hosting Belarusian books. By integrating these listings with an interactive map, we allow users to visualize and navigate the network of available books across different global locations.
In collaboration with our partners, we are focused on the continuous improvement and expansion of the platform. We are currently developing a new module to catalog Belarusian books translated into foreign languages to engage broader audiences and foster international interest in Belarusian literature.
